About NorthstarNorthstar Homes Inc. was started in 1994 under the direction of Norm Reichardt by his wife Judy and son Donny. Norm Reichardt officially took the helm in 1995 after being in the factory-built housing business for 15 years.
 Northstar Homes Inc. has grown significantly since it began, building 45 to 80 homes per year; and still remains a family owned business which employs a total of 18 people on staff and 32 subcontractors. Northstar Homes Inc. has recently opened an expansion office with a full design center and showhomes in Colorado Springs, CO; operated by Donny Reichardt.
Northstar has brought a whole new meaning to Custom home building, making the "modular" stigma (Click Here for Modular Myths) a thing of the past. Most "custom home builders" have their own set parameters they work within; this is not so with Northstar, we will customize 600 square feet or 6000+ square feet. At Northstar Homes we work with the entire spectrum of customers from the first time buyer to the multi million dollar project; all from concept to completion. At Northstar Homes Inc. we offer commercial and multi-family structures as well. It is a unique business model like no other; not just a builder, but a building solution.
And we never forget our primary business, which is providing custom homes to families in Colorado and adjacent states. The business is run the same today as it was when it started with the goal of 100% customer satisfaction. And we have the capability to service locations where other builders will not go, and control the cost.
The design of your new home can be based on one of our show homes, one of the 300+ plans that we have on file, a plan from a magazine or from a sketch on a napkin. Our sales associates can create a custom design for you on the computer. You can design a house that fits your lifestyle, your building site and your budget.
With our detailed process, you will know the total cost before you begin construction and there are no surprise costs during the process.
We can customize our services to meet your needs. Depending on your location, we can take care of the entire construction process, from pulling the building permits, through preparing the site for the house to final cleaning. Or you can take care of the site preparation and we will provide and finish the house. If you would prefer to be more "hands on", we can deliver and set the house and you can build "sweat equity" by completing the finish work.
